  • Weekend.

I got up at 8 this morning, usually I'm sat here in the office by 7.45 - not good!
So this morning I strutted in at 9.15, I've only just realised we have a new bod sat in the corner. He looks very erm.... boring! I'm sure he is nice, I'll find out later.

Well Madagascar 2 was great, slightly ruined by the noise of rustling pic 'n' mix bags which were coming from the boys, my mum and aunt!! I think I actually prefered it to the first one! Roll on 2011 and Madagasc

We then went and saw Santa. As Santa's go this one was very good and has scared the boys into being good! "You know he really is everywhere" I was told last night by number 1. The fact that the elf took down details such as names, ages, pet?s names and toys they wanted while the boys were busy looking at the moving snowmen worked a treat!

Christmas tree is up and looking pretty! And I smugly have only 1 present left to buy which is Madagascar 2 on the wii! Although I'm sure I'll find some extra gifts to buy them.

  • About time...

Waiting is nearly over, tomorrow at 11.45 am we are off to see Madagascar 2! There is a lot of excitment in my house tonight, so much so that they are off to Nanny's as they are driving me crazy!

So tonight I will finish decorating the kitchen and sort out the Christmas decorations without little people wanting to help.

I'm looking forward to next week, I have a day in the office on Monday, off Tuesday, At a prison on Wednesday, off Thursday, and then in Ipswich on Friday for the first of many Christmas do's! Then I will be off on an adventure, one I'm looking forward to and one that could possibly lead to me starting 2009 on a very positive note.

Number 2's DS arrived today, it's a turquoise one - today he has decided he would like a black one! Why can't they just come in one colour? Having said that I do love my pink one!

Number 1's only item on his Christmas list was a cabin bed with a desk underneath so that's what he's got!! That arrives on Tuesday and then that's Christmas done.
Well apart from the Madagascar 2 game for the wii, which I think came out today!

  • Bangs in the Sky.

No fireworks tonight as number 1 is not well, he is showing signs of man flu at 5!! God help me when he is 11.
Number 2 is happily watching them out the window though. The dogs going mental and barking at the door one minute and then hiding under the table the next. Hopefully he'll butch up a bit when he has his crown jewels 'seen to' in a few weeks.

Today I was offered tickets to the MTV awards, why do people offer things the day before the event!! I declined prefering to stay down here and watch it on the TV.

On Saturday I am taking my cousin's little girl to see High School Musical 3 - should be interesting.

And Friday I have the dreaded concert with my mum - joy.

  • Lunch time rambles

I'm tired...I don't work well on 4 hours sleep!  From now on I shall retire to bed at a reasonable hour; well that's the plan anyway.

So Monday.... is ok so far and has been helped with some beeps on my mobile.  I'm in the middle of sorting out my desk, a job I always do when I am having a 'go slow' day.  At least I won't have to do it in a few weeks when we move offices.

This weekend I have spent far too much money.  Christmas presents are all near enough brought,  tickets to see Pink have been ordered, and I've even agreed to go and see Take That with a friend in July.   I'm not actually bothered about seeing them I find it quite bizarre that all the girls and boys who teased you at school for liking them when you were 14 are all now raving about  them.  I was a Robbie fan and so they were never the same when he left anyways. But it's a night out I guess!

The boys have a new obsession which is Dale Winton and Hole in the Wall!   Apart from us I don't know anyone else who watches it.  I'm rather shamefully admitting that.  I know Dale changed his image to appear to a younger audience but I don't think he had planned it being 4 and 5 year olds.

Talking of nights out...on Friday I am going to see Andy Abrahams the singing bin man! I got my Mum tickets for Christmas thinking she'd take an aunt or something but nooooooo she wants me to go and as the boys will be with their Dad I couldn't think of an excuse to get out of it.  I shall grit my teeth and sit through the evening, what a lovely daughter I am.

I've now officially had enough of 2008....any chance we could skip the next few weeks and get into 2009!  I have lots and lots planned so far it's looking like it will include......New Kids on the Block, Euro Disney, Pink, Take That & New York.

Oh and i may as well mention that for no reason other than to brag.....I'm still leading on the football league.  I did wonder about putting a photo of Joe on again but I couldn't find one I liked. So I'll leave you with this one......

  • I'll have a treat please....

Typical the one year I buy sweets for trick or treaters not one kid knocks on the door! Anyone want a mini Mars Bar?

    Here's how today panned out...

    Breakfast
    Shops
    Texting session
Watched Alan Carr on Loose Women
    Watched 101 Dalmatians
    Dinner
    Power Cut
Boys went Trick or Treating round the families houses
Sat down with a white magnum and watched TV.

And in the words of Gordon Ramsey 'Friday Done'

I will point out that I tried some fake blood on my nose and it's stained my skin...:( So I look like I have a permenant nose bleed.

  • What did you do in your lunch hour??

This afternoon we decided that we'd go out of the office for lunch, someone then mentioned the cinema.....

Next thing you know it's 2pm and after stuffing our faces with Nando's we found ourselves stuffing our faces with popcorn whilst watching GhostTown!
It was a very bizarre afternoon and very funny to see our finance guy sitting in the dark with his suit on! How we got away with it I'll never know!

So Ghost Town was excellent, definatly my favourite film of the year, but I LURVE Ricky Gervais so I guess I would say that! There was a trailer for Madagascar 2, which I got quite excited about, and one for James Bond which I couldn't give a toss about. Anyways we got back to the office at 3.45, and I stayed until 5 as I felt a little guilty for having a long lunch!

So all in all it was an easy day's work! :>

  • Tuesday Night in Hertfordshire.

I don't like a lot of things.... I HATE the snow!!!!  In 2 hours crazy amounts have fallen!  It hasn't helped that the cat happily strode in with a mouse in his mouth about an hour ago.  After 20 mad seconds of me screaming/shouting he made his exit back into the white world outside.
The dog is just barking at the sky, the snow is sending animals mental!!!

And what's worse is the fact I laughed at someone from up there in Scotland this morning when I got a text about them being surrounded by snow,  'What Goes Around'  is currently playing in my head.

I did try to take a photo of the snow but I don't think it's worked....

I am now on a mission to find my hat, gloves and scarf for the morning.    AND I shall go and steal the boys hot water bottles.

  • I got a brand new attitude and I'm going to wear it tonight......

I couldn't think of a title and I'm still loving the Pink song.  But it kinda fit's with tonights post....

Today I have overcome 2 body hang ups Woo Hoo!

    • Took the boys swimming today, last time I went swimming in a UK pool was about 15 years ago.  Only problem was that the swimming outfit that I brought in July was too big and I had to keep pulling the bottoms up!  Anyways come Saturday we will be off swimming again, so I'd better buy a new one.
    • I brought a dress...last dress I wore out in the day was......when I was 14 and a bridesmaid!!!!   So tonight I have ordered one from Miss Selfridges. Thank you to a fellow blogger who helped pick out the colour   Grey it is!!!

Tonight I am watching Most Haunted....Crap!!   I haven't seen anything on webcam and I certaintly haven't heard anything, apart from Yvette Fielding's big gob telling everyone to shut up and then rambling on herself.

  • Catch Up.

    Hmmm where to start.....

    * Last night we had an event at work, which was in Suffolk.  Our ambassador for the evening was Phil Gayle, he seemed nice and had a very big smile.  Cheap champagne was on tap but I behaved and stuck to water  .  Which was a good thing as I woke up not being able to speak due to a chest infection.  So today I slept alot and had my hair cut, will go to work tomorrow though for my apprasil.

    * Have forgotten all about all about the hairdresser now, although he is very cute.  Went out a few days ago with a new guy who is a little younger, not sure what will happen there though.  I think he's more the boys age than mine - I told him that his friends laughed, he didn't!!     But I'm quite liking it just being me and the boys at the moment, and not having my mind and energy taken up thinking about men!

    * Madagascar 2 comes out soon, I'm not sure who is more excited me or the boys!

    * Saw something to do with an ex today, it's always good when you see something that makes you think "what the fuck was I thinking!"  So it has given me a small ego boost, and a good laugh too.   That could possibly make me sound like a complete cowface but hey, being nice never got me anywhere.

    * Mr Rampage is catching me up on the BCUK football league, so I'm now wishing I'd kept my big mouth shut!  Although I am still 15 points ahead at the moment. So....I'M STILL IN THE LEAD!!!!     No Joe Cole photos this week though.

    * Oh here have a photo from when my partner in crime came down last weekend... There was drink, there was a kebab and there was a guy with a stutter.

    P101008_22_45

And one of  how number 2 has started leaving the house.... he will only answer to stormtrooper, when he has his mask on.  Roll on Christmas when he gets his new one complete with noise!!

And here's the boys school photo, I don't like it!
